Big Bamboo Stock Photography was co-founded by photographer Brian Kossen who grew up in Holland, Michigan, and has traveled the world taking pictures before making his home in Honolulu, Hawaii. Located in Kaimuki, Big Bamboo is dedicated to depicting in photographs the spirit of the Hawaiian Islands.

The Bamboo plant manifests what Big Bamboo Stock Photography is all about. Down through the millennia bamboo has stood for versatility, strength and resiliency as well as self-generating, fast-growing and renewable.
